Motor City Sounds recreate the essence and atmosphere of Motown from the 60s and 70s, with authentic arrangements and instrumentation. All the big hits from the era plus a few "deeper cuts" and unexpected gems!
Performance credits include Melbourne’s “Soul a Go-Go”, White Night (Melbourne & Ballarat), Backing “The Merindas” at Crown Casino, CluBarham, Ballarat’s Begonia Festival, and warm-up band for ABC TV’s “Q & A”, and of course, MEMO Music Hall!
Featuring top-class musicians from across Victoria, including an X-factor finalist, a former member of the John Butler Trio and sessions with top Australian musicians such as The Merindas, Geoff Achison, Joe Creighton, John McNamara, Brett Garsed and Neil Murray.
