A celebration of the inaugural MEMO Music Hall Poetry Massacre held on June the 12th, 2022 which featured the cream of Melbourne’s independent musicians including HI ACE (Jeff Lang and Alison Ferrier) Charles Jenkins, Shane O’Mara (both playing at the Bob Dylan Tribute at the Pallais Theatre in May 2024, and Monique Brumby twice Aria Award winner.
Each act will sing a well known song of their own or a cover and also recited a favourite Poem or song Lyric. We believe our great Melbourne songwriters are poets too and are extremely well read.
The show will feature Rebecca Barnard (Rebeccas Empire), Dan Warner, Greg Arnold (Things Of Stone & Wood), Sarah Carroll, Suzannah Espie, Alison Ferrier, Kerri Simpson (The Opelousas) & Shorti (Collards Green and Gravy).
