Emotionworks Cut Opera is excited to present Puccini’s ‘Tosca’ bound in Blues, Soul and R&B’. This fast moving 90 minute “Opera Fusion” adaptation of Tosca is updated and fused with the best classic Blues, Soul and R&B songs reflecting this dark and menacing tale about love, lust, brutality and corruption.

Directed by award winning Opera Australia director Julie Edwardson and featuring some of Melbourne’s best operatic and contemporary voices, the cast includes Jason Wasley (Cavaradossi), Michael Lampard (Scarpia), Katy Turbitt (Tosca) and blues performer Richard Woods (Angelotti) accompanied by the Cut Opera House Combo, the Sassy Soul Sirens and Emotionworks Voxbox.
