Grand WaZoo:Oz's Atlantic Stax Motown Soul Spectacular returns

GRAND WAZOO : Oz's pre-eminent Atlantic-Stax-Motown Soul Spectacular returns...

The mighty 13 piece GRAND WAZOO - Kings of Soul, plans to return with Covid-Safe Entertainment in 2021, bringing you the iconic 60s-70s songs that were the soundtrack across generations, along with rare soul and r & b gems and band tunes.

The Band plans to celebrate a return to LIVE MUSIC with you at MEMO Music Hall St Kilda on Saturday, FEB, 27, 2020 where you may put your troubles aside and enjoy a special night out. If audience numbers are still time-limited, socially-distanced and seated-only, tickets for the concerts will be fewer and Grand WaZoo shall present two separate sessions across the evening. If Covid protocols change, the band and venue shall adapt the concert schedule accordingly.

Formed in 1981 by John Montesante, who still leads the band today, Grand WaZoo is Australia’s premier Soul Extravaganza - presenting black soul hits, rare gems and band originals to appreciative audiences across generations! Whether you love the timeless music from Motown, Ike & Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Eddie Floyd, Etta James, Otis Redding, Ray Charles, James Brown, Marvin Gaye or others, this show has something for everyone.

Please put the date in your diary and check the MEMO Music Hall links for ticket information. We hope you shall be able to attend and savour the vibrant, time-honoured sounds of this amazing band, who are still the most entertaining and authentic Soul exponents in the southern hemisphere!

We shall update you if anything changes and look forward to entertaining you again.
