Deep Relaxation Through Yoga Nidra
Come join us for 1½ hours of delicious immersion into deep relaxation and rest!
About this Event
Yoga nidra is a practice of guided mind–body awareness that enables effortless disengaging from the thinking mind to create a nourishing, meditative state of deep relaxation and ease.
Involving no asanas (physical yoga poses), yoga nidra is done in a restful and comfortable lying position, and can be enjoyed equally by those with yoga or meditation experience, and those with no prior experience. These classes are suitable for all ages from teens.
Yoga nidra can be excellent for those who may otherwise find it difficult to relax or to meditate. Cultivating wellbeing on multiple levels, yoga nidra can be beneficial by:
✧ providing relaxation
✧ reducing stress
✧ increasing physical energy
✧ alleviating insomnia and supporting healthy sleep
✧ improving digestion
✧ balancing emotions
✧ building equanimity and resilience
✧ fostering creativity
✧ giving a profound sense of wholeness and ease
