Paris End & Chinatown Walk (Postponed)

Hear the Jewish stories behind the Chinese National Club, Eastern Market, Florentino's, Her Majesty’s Theatre and the Sun Kum Lee Building. This walk concludes with a tour of the Museum of Chinese Australian History and is presented with Multicultural Museums Victoria.

Mansions of East Melbourne Walk (Postponed)

Revel in the grandeur of early Melbourne. Tour the former homes of Sir John Monash and the first Jewish Mayor of Melbourne Sir Benjamin Benjamin, the Freemasons Hospital, ‘Little Pardon’ Queen Bess Row and more.

North Carlton Walk

North Carlton was once home to many migrants, including Jews who had fled persecution in Europe. Retrace their steps at the old Kadimah, Peretz Yiddish School, Pose’s Pickles and Tel Aviv Dairy, plus the homes of Rabbi Joseph Gurewicz and Jewish traders.

East Melbourne Walk

Discover the Carlton United Hebrew Congregation site, Chevra Kadisha, Herzl House, Monash House, Smorgon’s Butcher Shop, Stone’s Synagogue and more. This walk concludes with a tour of Museo Italiano and is presented with Multicultural Museums Victoria.

Melbourne CBD Walk

Discover the hidden Jewish histories of Melbourne’s CBD. Visit Bourke Street Synagogue, the Block and Royal Arcades, Cashmore Lake, Cheapside House, Mirka Mora’s mural at Flinders Street Station, Myer Emporium, Portland House, the Port Phillip Hotel and the city’s first mikvah.
